Artisanal Series, 010 Men's Line

Presented in Maison Martin Margiela's Spring-Summer 2001 collection, this Artisanal menswear piece reconstructs a pair of vintage military training shoes into a unique creation. Each shoe has been individually hand-painted and embellished with handwritten words and graffiti, making every example a one-of-a-kind work crafted by hand.
Often referred to as the "010" line, the name combines the "0" denoting the Maison's Artisanal line with the "10" identifying the menswear collection within Margiela's iconic numerical labeling system.
