Signed and dated lower left on the reverse of the canvas.
With an artist’s label and a Satani Gallery label on the reverse of the frame.
There are indications that the work, originally executed on an unstretched canvas, was later affixed to a stretcher.
The surface bears a glossy coating, apparently applied in an attempt to stabilize areas of craquelure; the extent of the artist’s involvement in this intervention is unknown.
